June in Komi will be rainy and warm

Komi CGMS presented the weather forecast for June.

According to weather forecasters, the monthly precipitation amount in most areas is expected to be 100-140% of the norm (the norm is 48-82 mm) this June.

The average monthly air temperature is 1…2C higher than the climatic norm (the norm in the southern regions is 14…15C, in the northern 11…13C, in the Vorkuta region 9C).

The weather conditions are expected to be changeable during the month, with periods of cloudy rainy days and dry, partly cloudy weather alternating. The temperature background will experience noticeable fluctuations during the month. There is a high probability that in the first and third ten-day periods, the average temperatures will exceed the norm by 2…4C. The second ten-day period, on the contrary, is expected to be 2…4C colder than usual.

During the month, the prevailing daytime air temperatures will be 18…23°C, in the last days of the first ten-day period in the south and in the third ten-day period across the territory, the temperature may rise to 25…30°C.

It is possible that on individual days of each ten-day period, the daytime warming will be only 8…15C. At night, a drop in temperature to 0C is most likely in the north in the first five days of June and in the middle of the month.
