In the coming June, precipitation in most areas is expected to be 1.5 monthly norms (norm 48-82 mm). The average monthly air temperature is predicted to be within the climatic norm (normal in the southern regions 14…15C, in the northern 11…13C, in the Vorkuta region 9C), reports the Komi Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring.
During the month, weather conditions will mainly be influenced by cyclones. This will lead to prevailing weather with partly cloudy skies and frequent rain.
The temperature background for most of the month is predicted to be close to the climate norm. At the same time, noticeable temperature fluctuations in the second and third decades of the month cannot be ruled out.
In forest areas, fire danger is predicted according to the regional classification, mainly class II and III. Only briefly will it rise to high class IV, and to extreme fire hazard class V.
It is expected that in polar Vorkuta it will warm up to 10C by the end of the first ten days. During the month, the prevailing daytime air temperatures throughout the territory will be 17…22C, on some days of the first ten days in the south, in the second and third throughout the territory the temperature may rise to 25…30C.
It is also possible that after June 10, on some days, when arctic air arrives, the daytime heating will be only 8…15°C. Night frosts are most likely in the northern and central regions in mid-June.
